Prepare yourself for another finely crafted piece of prose,
My day.Today I was working in the weight room so I read a lot of Smoke and mirrors before I got the itch to write, Gaiman does that to me. I got a whole vignette done and the beginnings of something. Must work on finishing what I've started. After work I wnet for a walk to the library and Cub. I ran into Steve Wright and Greg Miliron, we had a lovely chat. I returned Blackadder 1 and picked up blackadder 2. At Cub I replenished my supply of ramen and condiments I also bought a can of generic kippers as an impulse.
Upon returning home I putzed around on the computer and made some ramen before I started watching Blackadder. I watched the whole tape and loved it. Somehow I had managed not to see any of the first three episodes of the second season. Including the Walter- my-what-a-big-ship-I've-got-Raliegh episode. Until tonight I had no idea it was a blackadder reference when we called Joseph that. I was going to writ my update and got to bed early when Andy posted that he had watched the venture brothers new season on YouTube. I, of course availed myself of it. several hours here I am, entertained and amused but still required to wake up at 11:00 tomorrow. Ergo, no particularly long post today.
Two things from the weekend which slipped my mind. My supernaturally hardcore indestructable bat-phone met it's match when it was run over an unspecified number of times on a gravel road. It fell out of the car dor when I got out to get my ID at faire. as a result every rennie coming in that night and likely until morning when the black phone became visible, ran it over with vehicles of various sizes. It still turns on and tries to work but something inside is inhibiting it from having a reliable connection with its mother ship or what ever it is to which they connect.
Also, in the heat of the weekend my rearview mirror fell off. I need to buy some epoxy to put it on. considering the recent rash of car trouble I consider this to be both warranted under the conditions and relatively speaking not such a big hassle. I can drive without it and as far as I know the epoxy is cheap so I will be getting some when I go to the optometrist tomorrow (provided I don't decide to cancel/ move to a different optometrist who will do the exam for free).
-My, aren't you a doddle headed ponce?-
